Implementation

Med ProFileŽ is a client-server application that runs under Microsoft Windows NT 4.0™ at the server and Microsoft Windows 95™ or Windows NT™ at the workstation. The image below is an example of a specific client-server network configuration.

Patient records database will be housed in the server which will provide access from separate client computers in individual offices. These clients will have Med ProFileŽ application as the interface to retrieve patient information. This efficient client-server method will enable anyone at various security levels to add to or edit data at any time. In turn, the data will be updated for everyone in the office in "real-time".

Med ProFileŽ supports the most up-to-date technology in its products including:

Pen based systems.
Wireless technology.
Touch screen technology.
Mobile devices.
Notebooks and infra-red communications.
Radio frequency technology.
Voice activation/recognition systems.
